Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Dris wants every adult customer to be able to browse the menu, place an order and track a delivery, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or other assistive technology.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on this online store.

What we do

  • Every change to the store is checked automatically against WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules before it goes live, on the menu, product, bag, checkout, account, order tracking, ID upload and information pages.
  • We test with the keyboard only, with visible focus, at 200% zoom and at a 320-pixel-wide screen, and with reduced motion turned on.
  • The 21+ question is a proper dialog: it can be answered with the keyboard and a screen reader.
  • Form fields have labels, and errors say what went wrong and how to fix it.
  • Product photos have text alternatives, and prices, THC and CBD values and lab results are text, not images.

Known limitations

We're still working on these:

  • Some product photos and brand descriptions come from the product's maker and may be less descriptive than we'd like.
  • Lab certificates of analysis (COAs) are PDFs from the testing labs and may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we'll read out or send the results as text.
  • The ID upload step needs a photo of your ID. If you have trouble with it, contact us and we'll help you finish it.
  • The live map of the driver (a separate page, when there is one) isn't usable with a screen reader; the tracking page always gives the order's status and arrival time as text.

Technical details

The store is built for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge and for screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA. It relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
