Wellesley is a residential town west of Boston with three village centers: Wellesley Square, Wellesley Hills and Wellesley Farms. Dris delivers to homes across town, along Route 9 and Washington Street and the residential roads that branch off them.
Wellesley has mostly single-family houses on long residential roads, so the handoff happens at the front door; check your house number at checkout.
Wellesley is a town of quiet residential streets, and Dris reaches them all: Wellesley Square, Wellesley Hills, Lower Falls along the Charles River, and the leafy blocks of Wellesley Farms. Washington Street, Route 9 and Cliff Road carry most of the traffic between those villages. Neighbors on our delivery list include Natick, Needham and Newton, and Weston lies just to the north. Many Wellesley households like having the menu brought to the house rather than driving into another town. We make same-day deliveries to private homes in Wellesley whenever we are open. Have a valid government ID ready at the door, and remember that only adults aged 21 and over can accept an order. The commuter rail runs through the Square and the Hills, so some addresses sit close to the tracks.
Dris covers these parts of Wellesley:
Nearby towns on the Dris delivery list: Natick, Needham, and Newton. Natick, where Dris is based, adjoins Wellesley to the west, Needham is to the east, and Newton lies to the north.
Dris delivers Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 11pm and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm. At checkout you pick a delivery window; each window stops taking orders one hour before it starts, and if one is full or closed you choose the next. Wellesley is in the same delivery zone as every other Dris town, so the delivery fee (free on orders of $100 or more after discounts and points, before tax) and the $50 minimum are the same here as anywhere else on the list. ASAP delivery appears at checkout only where it is turned on for your address. Adults 21+ with a valid ID; we deliver to off-campus homes and apartments only, not to dorms or campus housing. See the full delivery rules or the list of every town we deliver to.
Which parts of Wellesley does Dris deliver to?
Dris delivers across Wellesley, including Wellesley Square, Wellesley Hills, and Wellesley Farms. Enter your address at checkout to confirm it is inside the delivery zone.
Does Dris deliver to Wellesley Farms and Lower Falls?
Yes. Both are covered, along with Wellesley Square and Wellesley Hills. Your address is confirmed at checkout.
What do I need to have ready when the driver arrives in Wellesley?
The person who placed the order must be at the door, 21 or older, with a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the order. Without it, the order goes back with the driver.
What happens if I am not home for a delivery in Wellesley?
The driver waits at least 5 minutes. If no one is there, a missed-delivery fee is added to your next order.
